Lisa Osteen Comes is an Associate Pastor at Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas under the leadership of her brother, Pastor Joel Osteen. A graduate of Oral Roberts University, she is an accomplished minister of the Gospel and has held several key positions at Lakewood Church including that of Director of Ministries.

While Lisa is well known for her practical, easy-to-understand messages, she is no stranger to the extraordinary. Injured at birth, Lisa developed a condition similar to cerebral palsy which doctors said would cripple her and cause her early death. But as her parents prayed for her, God miraculously healed Lisa before her first birthday.

Several years later, Lisa experienced another of what can only be described as a miracle. In 1990, while opening mail at her desk, Lisa's life was spared when she unknowingly unwrapped a package containing a bomb. The bomb exploded with such force that it riddled her office with nails and shrapnel. God intervened and miraculously protected her and she escaped with only minor injuries in comparison to the impact of the explosion.

Through all of her challenges and experiences, Lisa has become known as a respected ministry leader and Bible teacher. Lisa's passion for God's Word and love for people radiate in her practical, yet insightful messages. Lisa and her husband, Kevin, have three children - Catherine, Caroline, and Christopher.
